The primary purpose of Module 5 is to equip aircraft maintenance engineers, particularly B2 Avionics engineers, with the knowledge needed to understand how aircraft computers, digital networks, electronic displays, and data systems operate and communicate with each other and how aircraft computers display data.
Modern aircraft rely on digital flightdecks, autopilot systems and fly by wire controls so it is essential that aircraft engineers understand how to test these systems.
